After a month, we sent a reminder, but still no response from him and upon enquiry we discovered from his contract employers,the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation(NNPC)that Mr.RON BAKER died while on vacation from an automobile accidentthree months after opening the account with us.
On further investigation, I found out that he died without making a WILL,and all attempts to trace his next-of-kin or relatives has so far proved fruitless. On making further investigation i discovered thatMr.RON BAKER did not declare any next-of-kin or relations in all his official documents,includinghis Bank deposit paperwork in my Bank. This sum of US$6.5million is still in the custody of my Bank and the interest is being rolled over with the principal sum at the end of each year since then.No one will ever come forward to claim it.
According to Nigerian Law,at the expiration offive(5) years,the money will revert to the ownership of the Nigerian Government if nobody applies to claim the fund. Consequently, my associate and i who are the only one with theknowledge of the existence of this funds have decided to acquire this funds for ourselves and need your assistance in this regard,HENCE MY CONTACT WITH YOU.
