The Rep. Morgan Carroll got fed up, as she is been hit with more than 6000 email spasm in two weeks. According to Morgan Carroll, such unwanted spams are costing nearly $70 billion loss for consumers on lost productivity and virus removal. The Aurora Democrat will be introducing a bill by next year, which will allow Coloradans to recover damages from those who are sending false, unwanted and misleading spam e-mails. A large number of Colorado statutes will allow residents to eliminate their e-mail addresses and names from spam lists and telemarketer, as well as recover damages in civil courts. According to the state law, telemarketers and those sending junk faxes and e-mails needs to provide a valid address and phone number.
